I have been working with words for more than 18 years and going strong. In 2018, I launched Traveler and Tourist digital magazine as a proof of concept and now publish it as a monthly lifestyle magazine which I edit and design for a global readership.

I am an editor with print and digital publications. I pen stories for trade and consumer outlets on a freelance or contract basis. Experienced in long form features and shorter blog post style articles, I have worked on interviews, event coverage, business profiles, community spotlights, fact-checking and other forms of narrative and creative writing. An expert generalist and a cognitive thinker, I am comfortable covering diverse subject areas and have worked on multiple beats.

I also work with corporate and individual clients as well as custom content companies writing content and assisting with related requirements like proofreading, blogging, ghostwriting, e-newsletters, website copy, social media, editorial calendars, annual reports, and more.

I am one of the chapter coordinators for Solutions Journalism Network Los Angeles and a member of the Los Angeles Press Club. I am an active member of the Society for Professional Journalists - I was previously interim board member with the Georgia Pro chapter, serving the role of treasurer.

I am based in Hollywood/Los Angeles, Calif. and seek new opportunities and connections in the local, regional and international media and publishing industry.
