Award-Winning Journalist, Writer, Editor and Storyteller

I’m an award-winning journalist with experience writing and reporting for print, radio, TV and the web. While growing up in Orlando, I have always had a passion for writing and music as well as having a knack for meeting bands. After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio-Television, I started my writing career as a medical producer at the CBS affiliate WCPX Channel 6 (it’s now WKMG Channel 6). I also was the associate producer and arts editor of the Chicago Tribune’s EPPY award-winning entertainment website Orlando and the associate editor of Create Magazine. My main writing focuses are the arts and entertainment and have interviewed celebrities, including actor Dennis Hopper and musician Cyndi Lauper, covered celebrity red-carpet events and have written about a tiki road trip through Florida. My stories have been featured in Atomic Ranch magazine, Destination Hyatt, the Orlando Sentinel, Orlando Arts Magazine, Time Out Chicago, Venus Zine, Us Weekly, Winter Park Magazine and Zagat Survey.
