I was always the kid who was (perhaps overly) eager to learn "what," "why," and "how," which probably exasperated my teachers just as it sparked my own love of learning. As an adult, I have found that similar questions are key to my development and efficacy as a writer and marketing and public relations professional: “What is the core puzzle I am looking to solve?” “How can I best make an impact with my work?” Perhaps most importantly, I have learned to approach daunting projects with an attitude that challenges, "Well, why not?"
