Sebastian Fortino was raised in Philadelphia, and educated in New York's Fordham University, Lincoln Center. He began writing columns and travel pieces for local websites in Philly, before writing columns for Metrosource, and travel pieces for EdgeMediaNetwork. After relocating to Florida he became a senior editor with the South Florida Gay News. After two years in that role he switched to copywriting, but wrote freelance pieces on the side.
Now, after not being an editor for a few years, Sebastian is once again editor of a publication. This time it's in Portland, OR where he has lived for three years. His role is editor-in-chief across several platforms managed by Brilliant Media, with most of his time being focused on ProudQueer.com (formerly PQMonthly.com). He is happiest when writing, and looks forward to working with ClearVoice.
