Ever since I was a little girl I had a passion for dance.
My favourite style was jazz: quick, upbeat, sharp, flashy and fun. Jazz attacks each move with a smile and a flare, forcing people on the edge of their seats, bopping along.
But regardless of whether it’s ballet or hip-hop, mime or swing, set to music or silence; dance is a storyteller. Movement becomes the language while the body it’s medium for the story to emerge. It evokes a feeling and has the power to inspire awe or take your breath away.
And that is exactly what a superior storyteller does.
So as I grew older I traded my dancing shoes for a diploma and now I am lucky enough to help entrepreneurs, small businesses and creatives build relationships, in still trust and drive results with charismatic, compelling and creative copy and strategy.
Instead of jazz hands and high kicks, I use stellar communication, creative storytelling and digital tools to invoke a feeling and inspire awe from my desired audience- all with a smile and a flare only a former jazz dancer would know.
