Ever since I learned how to hold a pencil, I've been writing and creating stories and poetry. As a child, I often would re-word storybooks to what I thought sounded better. As I got older, I took journalism in school and enjoyed time writing for the newspaper. I pursued a degree in social services, earning a Bachelors of Science degree and then going on to work in administrative capacities, but never gave up my love of the written word.
I currently have the ability to work from home and have a flexible schedule. This allowed me to publish my first novel to Amazon Kindle, which was just released last year. I am looking to gain work in freelance creative writing, ghostwriting, contribute to screenwriting and exploring what is available in the field.
I loved writing my novel but would like to take on extra assignments to sharpen my writing skills while I continue to build my portfolio and work on future novels.
I am looking to be a ghostwriter, write opinion pieces, lend my voice to screenwriting, capture memories, boost and enhance existing stories and consider opportunities to further my writing in multiple ways.
