Steven Salami

Steve worked as a successful personal injury and real estate attorney for 20 years before recently retiring in October of 2019 to pursue his true passions – writing and the culinary arts. With an undergraduate degree is in journalism and extensive experience writing on deadline and under pressure, Steve embraces this new chapter in his life with the same gusto and vigor with which he practiced law.
Raised by a father who was an Iranian immigrant and a mother who was in college at the age of 16, Steve had a second-to-none work ethic instilled in him at a very young age. Expecting to work tirelessly, nights, weekends and on holidays, he is committed to successfully accomplishing the task at hand – no matter the time of day or day of the week. These are the values his parents taught him and they are the hallmark of his personal and professional life.
On a personal level, Steve is an animal lover, specifically cats. He had a Siamese cat, Felix, who he trained to use the toilet if you can believe that!! Steve also enjoys skiing, the beach, reading and is an avid sports and Beatles fan. He has been dating his beautiful girlfriend, Amanda, since 2015 and they plan to marry in the next few years.
Because of his unique last name (Salami), Steve has developed quite a sense of humor and that comes out in a variety of unique ways. With a laid-back, fun-loving personality, Steve is easy to get along with, impossible to ignore and hard to forget – a true positive addition to any work or social setting.
