Thessa Lageman

I write about a wide range of topics, including business, human rights, migration, environmental issues, travel, energy, culture and education. I also edit texts and translate from English to Dutch.

I often take photos accompanying my stories as well.

I've written for publications such as Al Jazeera English, BBC, The Guardian, The Atlantic's CityLab, Vice, The Sydney Morning Herald, and many Dutch and Belgian outlets.

I write content marketing articles and copywriting texts for brands​​, businesses and government bodies, such as Facebook, Wärtsilä, the European Commission and many content marketing agencies. I also do assignments for NGOs, like Amnesty International, Education Above All and the United Nations Office of the High Commission for Human Rights.

At the moment, I am based in The Hague, The Netherlands and often travel to other parts of the world. I have also lived in Tunisia, Kuwait, Egypt and Dubai.
