Timothy Bucci was born in Springfield, Illinois in 1963. He graduated from college in 1986 with a degree in journalism from Eastern Illinois University. Upon graduation, a career in marketing and information technology began and, five years later, he developed an interest in the game of darts. By 1992, as his enthusiasm for the sport grew, the notion of writing a book about darting began to take shape, too. Subsequently, in 2005, he self-published a book on the topic, titled: SOFT-TIP DARTS FOR THE NEW PLAYER - A QUIVER OF 3. Repeatedly, it has been the #1 book sold on Amazon in its subject area. In terms of Amazon's overall sales rankings, out of some 6+ million products sold through its website, this book has ranked as high as #41.
