Economist and computer scientist, Toms DCS is Professor at Dubai Technology School of Management and Dean of Faculty. In the field of economics, he was particularly interested in the problems of development and the phenomena of late industrialization on which he wrote a book. In computer science, he has been involved in modeling methods for industry, biomimetic algorithms and cellular automata. He is particularly interested in the applications of biomimetic algorithms to economics and management. Author and scientific and general articles in economics and computer science, he is also devoted to the popularization in Europe of artificial life.
