Tony is a native of Columbus, Ohio, USA who has lived and worked internationally for 30 years, globetrotting as a military airlift pilot with more than 400 hours of combat experience. He's an accomplished world traveller, having set foot in more than 70 countries and all 7 continents (yes, including Antarctica). He's also worked as a professional blogger, creating, editing, and acting as primary contributor to a military affairs website attracting more than 12 million annual visitors. Tony has appeared in national media to advance veteran causes and to comment on military budgets and operations. He has most recently worked as a senior operations manager for a major retailer, leading a team of more than 800 people responsible for $700M in annual throughput. With a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he served as Senior Editor of the National Security Journal, and M.A. degrees in Organisational Management and National Security Strategy, Tony has considerable breadth and depth of academic expertise to compliment his varied professional and leisure experiences.
