I'm Trisha Turner, a freelance writer and editor based in Fishers, Ind., just outside Indianapolis. I have passions for education, health and fitness, and the nonprofit sector — and I’ve put those passions to work in my nearly 30 years of writing and editing experience.

After cutting my teeth as a newspaper reporter, I spent more than 25 years as a corporate and media relations staffer — working for Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, USA Group, and USA Funds / Strada Education Network.
