Kadem the Comic, a stand-up comedian who always wears a flat round hat as his trademark, is one of the third generation of Zimbabwean stand-up comedians who has managed to grow over the years through Simuka Comedy Club.
Kadem is also popularly known as Captain Tito, a character he plays in the local sitcom dubbed “Special Class”. Kadem the Comic was part of the first ever stand-up comedy special that was filmed by Kwese Iflix in 2018 dubbed "Comic Tick" and is a regular performer at many stand-up comedy events in Harare, among them; Reps Comedy Nights, Simuka Comedy Nights, AmaWednesday Comedy Nights and Dons of Comedy. His professional journey as a stand-up comedian began in September 2014 at the then BOCAPA Open Mic at the Book Café.
When Kadem the Comic is not cracking jokes, he is seriously doing internal audit and risk management. He is also a Wedding MC and an Events Host. Kadem recently released his debut music album titled " #PrataPrata" in November 2019.
Currently Kadem is the CEO for Simuka Comedy, an organization that unearths, grooms and promotes comedy talent with the goal to promote the stand-up comedy industry in Zimbabwe.
