A Telly Award-winning writer, I’ve spent my more than two decades as a writer and communication strategist teaching individuals and brands how to better analyze audiences and tell stories really, really well.
I am a mix of analytics obsession, artistic creativity and journalistic discipline. That makes me a geek with a little bit of chic.
My work includes:
• more than 100 nationally distributed newspaper and magazine clips, including distribution in The Washington Post, L.A. Times, USA Today, Chicago Tribune and The Wall Street Journal.
• a corporate biography book (print and e-book)
• short-assignment memoir publication (print)
• hundreds of contracted content marketing and social media posts.
• speeches given on both national and international stages.
• B-to-C advertising copy for clients ranging from healthcare to public utilities.
• successful business proposals to Fortune 50 companies.
In addition to my writing skills, I’ve earned my Inbound Marketing Certification from HubSpot and was at the forefront of content marketing when it became a major business development tactic. I've held the position of key contact with marketing executives for clients as large as AT&T and DIRECTV and as small as Bay Area tech and wine startups.
Now living in the food journalism hub of Northern California, I'm heavily engaged in the future of agriculture, nutrition and cooking - not only through research and writing, but food-focused journalism course at UC-Berkeley and ever-expanding garden.
And, I am excellent at diagramming sentences. Try me.
