Dave is a passionate writer and editor with over 10 years of experience in the industry, writing for various print and online media in the US and UK. He has been working as a freelance writer and editor gaining experience writing in different styles for numerous target audiences on finance, technology, sports, social media, start-ups, UK and US technology scene, security, piracy, and government policy. He currently writes and edits financial articles for Financial Times, Bankrate and covers technology and sports news for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) News website, but with select content being used across the entire BBC, including on Radio 4 and the BBC World Service. He also serves as co-editor of the BBC Internet Blog. He has made live appearances on BBC radio to discuss key technology stories.

Prior to working at the BBC, Dave was a blogger at Press Gazette for a period of five months. He was also an online writer at Sky News Online where he wrote news stories focusing on national and technology news. He was also a writer at The Guardian where he sourced and wrote a feature for graduate work in the Middle East, wrote a feature on part-time computer salesmen for Technology supplement, wrote an opinion piece for Technobile in Technology supplement, and contributed to Sports supplement with an opinion piece about MyFootballClub.com. Dave graduated from the University of Lincoln with a B.A. in Journalism.
