Hi, I am from a small northern town in the UK, and I couldn't wait to escape. I certainly did that! I left full-time employment to sail my boat, and I eventually ended up here, in the Caribbean. It's a hard life. So now I write, and there is so much to write about.
I previously worked as a Probation Officer before running away, or rather, sailing away to Greece where I worked for a small yacht charter company.
I have written 2 books about my escapades (1 of them a poetry book) and have been doing freelance writing work for a number of companies through word of mouth.
