Miye is a conservationist & freelance Creative Developer based between New York City and Ojai, CA. She currently is the Creative Producer and Contributor to the art & literature magazine, Hesperios. For the last 10 years, she has managed Operations for the Turtle Conservancy, and their print magazine, The Tortoise. After pursuing a B.M. degree at the Center for Music and the Performing Arts in VA, she moved back to NYC and began a line of luxury hand-made umbrellas from 2003-2006, managing production and design in Milan, Italy. Miye began collaborating with other designers in NYC on sourcing and strategy for interiors of NYC and LA based projects and residences. In 2008 she began producing custom fabrics, and became a contributing writer to the online design sourcebook website, Remodelista. Miye has been assistant to writer Glenn O'Brien and Editorial Directors at Interview Magazine.
