I'm a longtime journalist and author of the memoir "The Wild Oats Project." Previously I was EIC of 7x7, a San Francisco city magazine, and an award-winning food columnist for Philadelphia Weekly. I've written for The New York Times, The Atlantic, Oprah Magazine, Yoga Journal, and others. A former dance teacher, I've authored two dance books, "Ballet" and "European Dance," and I teach yoga part-time. I've also written dozens of travel articles and a travel guide called "Moon MapGuide San Francisco." I'm currently consulting editor for Together.guide, an online magazine about relationships. The final article in my portfolio, "I Left My Marriage in San Francisco," is a Notable Essay in "The Best American Essays 2016." I never miss a deadline.
