Web Content Storyteller

If there's one thing I know, it's good writing. I've studied it. I've taught it. I've practiced it. Using storytelling skills honed during my M.F.A. in Creative Writing, I've crafted quality content — including web copy, articles, press releases, media kits, and social media — for brands, non-profits, and blogs alike.

When I taught college-level composition, I told my students that writing effectively means knowing your audience. As a Communications Specialist for California Polytechnic University, a Marketing Assistant at Oregon State University, and a writer at Watershed Communications, I've targeted a variety of content to maximize its influence, fitting each piece together to tell a brand's larger story.

Because I love stories.

Good web content is like a story: it brings together various devices to enthrall a reader with its narrative. Like the characters, setting, and dialogue in a novel, pieces of content serve various functions but convey the same overarching brand themes and voice.
