My name is Rafie Simantov. I was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Israel just before starting 10th grade. Shortly after moving I joined a youth movement and realized that the field of education was my calling. Since then I have worked in the field with a variety of institutions, including youth movements, the military, the prison system, schools, summer camps and more.
In 2008 I finished my B.A. in “Informal Education” and “Jewish History”, and in 2009 I finished my teaching degree in History. I am currently in the process of earning my second teaching degree in “English as a Foreign Language”.
